Choice – Dignity – Empowerment
Gulganii Community Pantry is a service for people who are struggling to make ends meet. It helps them to buy staple food and essential items for little or no cost.
Packaged grocery items like stocks, oats, flour, rice, sugar and pasta, as well as sauces to go with them. Vegemite and Macaroni cheese for the kids and tinned vegetables and fruit. Coffee tea and milk. All available at reduced prices.
Toiletries are also available, delicious body washes and soaps. Sanitary products always available and free.
Items available in the community pantry will change from week to week and a minimum spend of $5.00 gives you access to free fruit and vegetables but is dependent on what we receive via donations and Food Recovery. Bread is free when available.
For an annual membership fee of $2.00, you can access this service. Health Care Cards and Centrelink numbers are not required and it is open to everyone.
Katie Tweedie has been working around the clock to get this community initiative up and now has eftpos facilities for your convenience.
