Be Connected is an Australia wide program that helps senior Australians get the skills they need to use computers and access the Internet.
Who is eligible?
Senior members of the community aged 50 years and over. If you are under 50 and need help the Mullumbimby District Neighbourhood Centre run their own Basic Web Mobile & Computer Skills Training to help get you started. More information…..

Services:
Be Connected allows senior community members to acquire all the computer skills they need to enhance life and give confidence with technology. Computer skills might include:
Internet – pay rates, shop online, research hobbies, find recipes
Social media – unlock the mystery of Facebook and Twitter
Skype – talk face-to-face to loved ones living afar
Email – write a “letter” that is delivered instantly
Word processing – type a neat document
Transferring photos from camera/phone to a storage device – learn how to manage numerous photos
Cost: Broadband for Seniors is free; however, donations to the Neighbourhood Centre are tax deductable and appreciated.
