Information and Referral
The Mullumbimby and District Neighbourhood Centre provides information about a variety of community services. In the reception area there are display racks of pamphlets covering a diverse range of community services available to the Byron Shire community.
The volunteers at the front desk are also able to assist visitors with their enquiries using a range of printed directories and by Internet searches.
Information about community services plays an integral role in promoting access and equity and assists a person to expand their options and opportunities.
Who is eligible? Any member of the community
Time: Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm
Services: Information is available about:
- community services
- activities
- private practitioners
- services and activities in Byron Shire as well as the adjoining shires of Lismore and Tweed
- referral into community services
- assisted referral
