Lismore & District Financial Counselling Service provides free, confidential financial counselling to people experiencing severe financial difficulties due to personal debt issues.
Who is eligible?
Anyone experiencing financial stress
Time: Thursday 9am – 4pm,
Friday 1pm – 4pm, appointments secured by calling 02 6622 2171
Services: Qualified professional staff will help:
look at the options available
offer support when the decision is made about which option to pursue
understand the implications of these options for self and for family.
Cost: Free
Lismore & District Financial Counselling Service does not receive any money from banks or credit providers are able to act independently and without conflict-of-interest. Financial counsellors are accredited with the Financial Counsellors Association of New South Wales (FCAN) and hold a diploma in financial counselling. Qualified professional staff receive ongoing training and supervision to allow them to better assist people in at times of financial hardship.
